Hello,
I just dropped a conversation I had with Mike Thurston. It’s a good one.
I called it “5 steps to unfuck your life”.
And honestly, that’s exactly what it is.
He walked me through everything he’s learned.
His step-by-step guide on how he built a massive audience. Became one of the biggest names in fitness. Launched a podcast that blew up. Built a real business that helps people…
And created the life he always dreamed of.
Here are 3 things he said that have been stuck in my head ever since:
1. Actually believe in yourself
This isn’t just about thinking positive.
It’s about truly believing you’re capable of doing what you said you’d do.
And honestly, that may be the number one reason most people aren’t chasing their dreams.
When I speak to people, I can feel it. They just don’t believe it’s possible.
Mike and I talked about two ways to build that belief.
The first is not giving yourself any other option.
No overthinking. No exit plan. Just decide that you’re doing it and go all in.
The second is stacking small wins.
Start with something you can control, like your body.
You do the work. You see progress.
And that quiet voice inside you starts to shift. You begin to believe you’re capable.
You start to believe you deserve the life you actually want and start asking yourself: “Well, If I did that what else can I do?”
2. Fix yourself first
Before you build strong relationships, fix the one you have with yourself.
You need to get to a place where you can look in the mirror and feel comfortable with who you are.
A lot of people carry some insecurity and convince themselves, “this is just how I am.”
But that’s not true.
You can get better at anything if you’re willing to put in the effort and the reps.
If you’re not confident on camera, you can get good.
The version of you that you respect, that version is buildable.
Invest in becoming someone you’re proud of.
How you feel about yourself sets the tone for everything.
3. Go where the action is
Most people overlook how much their environment matters.
Take Facebook, for example. It might not have become the giant it is today if Mark Zuckerberg hadn’t moved to Palo Alto, right in the heart of Silicon Valley, back in 2004.
I experienced this firsthand. At 23, I moved to Hong Kong. At that time, in 1997, Hong Kong was happening. That single decision opened doors I wouldn’t have found anywhere else.
So, ask yourself: where is the action for you?
Sure, you can achieve a lot online from your room with the internet.
But if you want to take your career and opportunities to the next level, there’s no substitute for being physically present where things are happening.
If you’re ready to get your shit together and take life seriously, I promise: this is a must-watch.

Exciting News
I’ve been nominated for a Webby Award, the “Grammys of the Internet.”
Out of thousands of entries, only five nominees are selected in each category, and somehow, we’ve made it.
Honestly, I really want to win this.
I know that winning would amplify our mission and make more dreams come true.
It would show that in an internet often filled with negativity, kindness wins.
Thank you for being part of this.
Together, we can spread the message that the world is ready for change.
Dream BIG,
Simon
